The Best DC Movies of All Time
As DC has proved that it is not afraid to put its money where its mouth is, so it does not come as a surprise that fans are constantly on the look out for DC movies releases. And who can blame them? The Caped Crusader has been one of the most iconic characters in comics and it would be great to have as much of his world depicted in the big screen as possible.
For every Batman movie or TV series that we have loved, there must have been at least a handful of DC films that have given us a glimpse into the dark and gritty world of Gotham City. Whether you are a hardcore fan or just a casual fan, there are a lot of DC movies that you can choose from, to satisfy your appetite for superhero films.
List of Top Movies by DC
Batman: The Dark Knight is perhaps one of the best DC Movies, in my opinion, and I am sure that I will not be the only one who believes that. This movie was directed by Christopher Nolan, who did an amazing job of introducing us to the Caped Crusader, adding in new and interesting characters, and making the movie a fun time to watch. The Dark Knight is a hard film to watch at times because you do not know what you are going to get. But once you start familiarizing yourself with the story and plot of the Batman franchise, then you will realize that The Dark Knight is one of the best DC Movies.
Superman: Because there were no superheroes in Gotham before, the townspeople assumed that Superman was a visitor from heaven. So when they see this strange man flying about on a hover-like machine, they begin to suspect that he might be an impostor. While on the trail of the impostor, they learn that Superman has taken up residence in their city and has started to cause problems. This movie is one of the most intense action sequences you will ever see in a DC film. It might even make you weak at the knees.
Batman: Bruce Wayne has been obsessed with being the greatest crime-fighting hero in the world, so when he learns that his parents were killed in a mugging, he sets out to clear their name and pursue the criminals responsible for their deaths. But he soon discovers that Batman has a darker side to him, and that his suit is capable of much more than just crime-fighting. The Dark Knight is one of the most compelling DC Movies to come down to since the original TV series, and while the early Batman movies left a big impression on fans, it was the Dark Knight that really defined a new genre. And the great thing about this sequel is that while it isn’t as exciting or as dramatic as the previous films, it still makes for a good Batman movie to watch.
Spider-Man: One of the most recognizable comic book superheroes, Spider-Man has managed to appeal to both kids and adults. He is a web-swinging hero who battles villains on behalf of Spider-Man, a daring and strong teenager who loves his high-flying adventure. Both the comics and the newest movie version are incredibly entertaining. With the success of Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man franchise, the actor has taken on quite the role of fulfilling fan expectations. The Amazing Spider-Man also went on to spawn several spinoffs including the X-Men series, The Fantastic Four, and the Spider-Man: Homecoming movies.
Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince: While there aren’t many huge name stars involved in this movie, there is still an incredible cast that includes Whoopi Goldberg, Christopher Walken, Kahlil Gibran, and more. Harry Potter is the first installment in the Harry Potter series, and while it doesn’t do as well at the box office as its predecessors, it still is a very entertaining movie. No doubt it will go down as one of the greatest films of all time, and the cast is still as amazing as ever. Other examples of top DC movies include the Dark Knight Rises and Man of Steel.
